Laptop…on its way to being fixed…I hope!

June 3, 2008

Tonight HP called me to see if I had taken my computer in to be repaired yet. I let them know that I had tried to get it fixed but that Best Buy did not have the correct part for my laptop. Oscar is now my new case manager because Aidan had an accident of some kind and is out for a week. If I have any questions, I can call him and he will be glad to help me in Aidan’s absence. Oscar believes that they do have the right part and they will be shipping it out to me. It should arrive in two days and then I should take it to my local store, like a Circuit City or Best Buy to have it installed. (We’ll see about that. It is just supposed to be pushed into the computer.) If it is not the correct part, they will have to create an order to have me ship the computer back to them for them to figure out the darn mess. Hopefully that is not the case!

What Did He Say?

June 3, 2008

Little Monkey spent the weekend with his Grammy and Pops and Big Monkey and I had the weekend to hang out and spend some time together. We picked him up on Sunday and he said he had lots of fun. He looked very tired but did not go back to sleep the entire ride home! Sometimes I have a hard time understanding what he is saying. Sunday was no different! Little Monkey was riding in the car and he kept saying, “Zip it! Zip it!” I wondered where he would have picked that up…but maybe some of the kids at the beach were saying it or something. Finally I watched him while he said it and he was also doing hand motions for the Itsy, Bitsy Spider song. So “Zip it!” actually meant Itsy or Bitsy or something. He was trying to sing the Itsy, Bitsy Spider. He would sing a line of the song and then sing a line from Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and then sing a line from Happy Birthday to You! It was cute. One day he’ll have all the words in the right order to the right song.
