Most people posted yesterday about the election. I did not. So today I will write a short bit about it.
The election was the start of something different for our country. Was it the right/best/my choice? I don’t know. I guess we will find out. I don’t really like to talk politics much because everyone has a strong different opinion and some folks cannot talk about their opinions nicely. I’m sure many people thought that they would not live to see the day that an African-American would become president. But here it is. It has happened and forever things may be different in American history.
Whether you agree with the person who was elected or not, you must now not be concerned with that but be concerned with what you can do for this country. If you have a problem with something…do something about it. Do not just sit and complain because it won’t change anything. And if you don’t like something, you could try and run for office and change things that way.
And that is all I have to say about that. I’m just not going to get into anything else. If you want something like that you should try some other blogs around the web!
