This weekend we managed to make it over to Home Depot’s Kids Workshop to build a school bus pencil holder. Little Monkey had to finish his breakfast in order to go (often a challenge at our house) but he did, so off we went. It was a fun craft and Little Monkey did a good job working on it. He said he wanted to take it to school with him to use there. I assured him that this was probably not the best idea but that we could keep it on his shelf at home.
We love going to Home Depot (and Lowe’s) for their free crafts. Little Monkey likes building them and getting a new pin or patch for his aprons. We often go with just us, so it is nice individual time for him while Little Monkette stays home with Big Monkey.
