Man, I must need to really start taking some pictures. I never can find something I really like for these challenges. I did find this one in the archives though.

This is from back in August 2009. Taken from the balcony at the beach house, looking down into the pool at Pops and Little Monkey working on swimming!

I Heart Faces- “Bundled Up”

I had the perfect photo for this post but sadly I cannot find it anywhere! So I did some digging around on the external hard drive and managed to find this one from 2007! This is when we took Little Monkey to go see ICE! at Gaylord Palms. They keep it is cool 9 degrees in there so they give you big parkas to wear. Little Monkey could hardly move in this get up! He also had on jeans, mittens, a hat, long sleeve shirt and fleece jacket underneath!

“Jump for Joy”-I Heart Faces

This week’s theme at I Heart Faces is “Jump for Joy.”

I picked this picture from my archives. It is from last September when Little Monkey was taking swimming lessons. He loved jumping through the hoop like a dolphin. I hope he has retained much of his swimming knowledge from last year. We’ll see how he does once the water warms up some more!

I Heart Faces-Outtakes

This week, I Heart Faces’ theme is Hilarious Outtakes. I looked around to see if I had anything..and it was tough. (It must be that I tend to delete pictures that are what I want!) This week, everyone is allowed to enter up to five photos.

I did come up with two. One Amy actually took but I just love it…so I had to put it in. I thought it was SO funny that Little Monkette actually yawned the first time she met Mickey. I mean really, doesn’t she know who he is!?!?!?!

I Heart Faces-Hands

This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is Hands. I picked this photo out of the archives. I really wanted to take another photo, but didn’t have the chance. I love this photo of Little Monkey. I took this photo of him while we were making Christmas ornaments in 2008. Crazy how long ago that sounds! And look how young he looks!

I Wanna Dance-I Heart Faces

This week over at I Heart Faces, the theme is “I Wanna Dance.”  Since Little Monkey doesn’t dance much and Little Monkette is too little to dance, I pulled this photo out that I took at Aunt K’s wedding.

Earlier in the day, Little Monkey had been chasing this girl around outside. It would have been cute to see them dance together but Little Monkey was done partying long before this point and had gone home with Grammy and Pops. I really wanted to post a different photo for today’s challenge but the challenge requires at least one person dancing. I had a photo of a line of girls at the wedding that were just watching others dance. You knew that they WANTED to dance…but no one was asking them! No one in that photo was dancing though, so I couldn’t use it.

I Heart Faces: “We Are Family”

This week’s photo theme over at “I Heart Faces” is “We Are Family.” I had a hard time finding a photo because either we are all in the picture (meaning I didn’t take it) or the photos are just of the kids. I found this one and decided to enter it this week. I was hoping to try to take a new picture but we did not really have the opportunity to do so.

This photo was taken on Christmas Day. Big Monkey was working at the fire station and we went to visit him. It was also Little Monkette’s first trip ever to the first station, so we took a few pics while we were there.

I Heart Faces “Best Face Photo”

I have decided today to enter I Heart Faces, “Best Face Photo” contest. They have a contest each week and I hope to continue to try and enter each week. Hopefully I can find something each week that fits the theme.

I chose today’s photo from the day we had Christmas morning. Little Monkey had no idea that he was getting a new bike for Christmas. He was SO excited when he saw it.
